Frequently Asked Questions

Which cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard and Visa debit & credit cards (including Visa Electron), as well as Delta, Maestro & Solo debit cards.  We are not currently able to take payments with American Express.

Can I get a VAT receipt?

A VAT receipt can be provided for you at the time of purchase from our Nursery.  If ordering online a receipt will be sent to you along with the goods.

Can I purchase Scotplants gift vouchers?

We will soon be joining the National Garden Centre Gift Voucher scheme.  Details will follow.

Can I use the website to reserve items?

You can use the website to enquire about any item listed or email us if you have a special request.  Items can be reserved and collected from the nursery or local delivery can be arranged.

I can’t see the size of plant I require, do you offer plants in a variety of sizes?

Most plants come in a range of sizes from small liners right up to 150ltr pots.  The prices shown on the website are for a 2ltr pot size (unless stated otherwise), larger sizes are available upon request.

Will I be contacted before delivery?

If you are having your plants delivered by us a date and time will be pre-arranged for your convenience.

Do Scotplants prices include VAT?

Yes, all prices listed include VAT.

Are online prices the same as in the nursery?

We try our hardest to make sure all the prices are kept the same.  Sometimes multi-buy offers or specific sale items are available that may not yet show on the website. If they are different you will be advised at the time of enquiry.

Do you offer a discount to the trade?

Yes, bulk discounts are available.

Do you offer a trade account facility?

Yes.

A copy of our catalogue can be printed from the website.

Where do you deliver?

We can arrange delivery anywhere in the UK.  Prices are dependent on quantity and weight of order.  A typical packaged order of 10 plants up to 20kg in weight starts £12.00  All enquiries to info@scotplants.co.uk
