Lonicera (Honeysuckle)

Lonicera are very different in appearance from the climbing species which is most associated with the honeysuckle.  The flowers are borne in pairs on slender peduncles followed by fused berries.  Best results come when pruned back immediately after flowering to within a few centimeters of old wood.
